General conditions:
Youth theatre festival “Drabyna” is an international theatre nonprofessional festival.


Organizers: art agency “Drabyna”
Co-organizers: social organization “Virmens’ka 35”; art association “Dzyga”.

Purpose of the festival:
Assistance in development of youth nonprofessional theatres, realization the initiatives of young people, popularization of theatre art among public, turning attention to the problems of young generation.

Motto of festival:
Modern generation. Time. Space. Own vision.

III theatre nonprofessional festival “Drabyna”:
1. III festival will take place in the period from 11 to 14 of May 2006
2. During the festival different actions will be organized for participants and guests
3. For participation in final part of contest jury choose the winners of elimination round
4. Plays will be evaluated by competent jury
5. The winners will be chosen in such nominations: “The best play”, “The best actor”, “The best director”, “The audience choice”.

Terms of participation in contest
1. The nonprofessional theatres and private persons can become the participants of contest
2. The play has to represent the motto of festival (Modern generation. Time. Space. Own vision)
3. There are no limits in texts, languages, genres
4. The number of participants is unlimited
5. The continuance of plays is not more than 1 hour
6. The theaters have to hand in an application and win the elimination round for participation in contest
7. The elimination round will take place in the period from 15 of March to 1 of April 2006
8. The participants from other cities (or countries) have to send video records of the plays or invite the jury for preview
9. The terms and plays of the festival will be defined by organizers
10. The other actions which will be organized during the festival are
- performance of guests
- acquaintance party
- farewell party
- the contest of photographer
- presentations
- master class
- the publishing of festival newspaper
- children theatre festival
- lectures and excursions

The own actions can be performed by any organization or private person during the festival “Drabyna” after agreement of the organizers.
